IILt C Chandler listed as Killed in action in action in the casualty list in the Wilts Times 28 November 1914

St Paul's memorial lists him as George Chandler.

The Medal Index Card for Chandler shows that he had been commissioned from the ranks, reaching the rank of Company Sgt Major with an Army number of 5200.He had served in France from 14 Aug 1914. The Medal card shows that his widow applied for his medals and gave her address, as shown, in Chelsea.
