Sgt EG Chivers of St Mary’s Place with the 6th Wilts fought at Gallipoli then Mesopotamia. Originally posted missing April 1916 now reported killed. This was the second son lost by this family.

Lost 2 Sons in the War

Mr and Mrs Chivers of St Mary’s Place have received the intelligence that that their son Sgt EG Chivers previously reported missing was killed. Deceased who belonged to the 6th Wilts fought at Gallipoli and Mesopotamia and was reported missing in April of last year. This is the second son Mr and Mrs Chivers have lost in the war.
