B Bty 232nd Bde, RFA In loving memory of Sgt EF Jones MM RFA who was killed in France October 3rd 1918. He heard the call, he held not back, But went straight forth to fight; When for our homes it looked most black He fell with victory in sight. Ever remembered by his loving Sisters and Brothers 92 Wood Lane, Chippenham. Wilts Times 4 October 1919 2 of Jones nephews died during the Second war whilst serving with the RAF,. Sgt WF Jones and AC2 VE Jones.
